CovenantIQ

VP of Product Design

I'm designing a new product that provides covenant analysis and monitoring for banks and private credit funds by ingesting and standardizing a borrower's general ledger, core banking data and loan covenants. Our team has developed a workflow using AI tools to extract GL and loan details and map them to a standard taxonomy in order to better analyze metrics driving loan covenant. This unified platform allows lenders to mitigate risk through early warning notifications and provides rich insights across their portfolio of loans.

Stratify

VP of Product Design

I was the founding designer at Stratify, a venture capital startup focused in the financial planning & accounting domain. Based on research with our design partners and our in-house subject matter experts, I designed a platform to support collaborative financial and workforce planning. I drafted PRFAQs, product requirements documents, and designed the product interface and UX. I built the design system, and led the front end engineering team in bringing the product to market.

Following the acquisition of Cloudability by Apptio, I continued to design core product features for the cloud cost management product. I also began to manage the greater Apptio design team of 9 including product designers, visual designers and content developers. Under my leadership we undertook the design and rollout our design system language, Apex, to the entire Apptio product portfolio.

I joined Cloudability as a Senior Product Designer and was promoted to Design Director. I co-created, along with product management, the design team, and engineering leadership, an industry leading platform for managing cloud cost across the major cloud providers. Cloudability was acquired by Apptio, who was then acquired by IBM for $4.6bn.

Cozy

Design Director

I was hired into Cozy as Director of Design to design and define product strategy. I introduced product management and design best practices, conducted user research through the customer advisory board and managed the design and customer experience teams. This was my first experience in a consumer start-up company.

I managed and mentored a team of product designers in the Portland and Palo Alto offices across mobile, core platform and emerging product initiatives. I also led product design on the Platform API and Analytics teams.

Senior Product Designer

I designed a marketplace for API integrations with the core platform through the Jive Service Registry. The framework allowed 3rd party developers to deploy apps within their Jive communities. I designed Community Manager Reports and Impact Metrics: platform analytics for end-users. Additionally, I designed new products in an R&D capacity with our data science team leveraging Python and graph databases to better understand indicators of healthy online communities.

The Standard

I introduced a design methodology through my role within the e-business team. We developed a practice of design research, prototyping and usability testing. The software products we delivered were a partnership with the IBM India Global Delivery Center (GDC) and in-house business analysts.
